Our doors are open, and we’re delighted to extend the very warmest of welcomes to new members! Joining is simple.

The first step to joining the club is to arrange an intro ride, on a Wednesday evening (road), Friday evening (gravel) or Sunday morning (road) of your choice, by completing the form below.

State the date you'd like to join us for an intro ride. Pick a Wednesday or a Sunday for road, or a Friday for gravel. If you are a little unsure about the whole thing, fear ye not, nothing will be set in stone until someone from the club has made personal contact with you.

Fees

We charge a £20 new joiner fee to cover running costs. If you’re under the age of 22, or unemployed, you can join the Chevaliers without charge; part of our commitment to inclusivity.

There is no annual membership fee, because we think cycling’s expensive enough already!

Requirements

We welcome all cyclists over the age of 16 and have no upper age limit (our oldest active member is 81).
To join our road groups, we expect prospective members to own road bikes and be able to ride them competently.

If you’re currently lacking the experience or confidence to take the plunge, you might feel more comfortable starting with one of our DEVELOPMENT RIDES. We are always happy to nurture talent, and never forget that we all started from humble beginnings!
